GENERAL DESCRIPTION
High-Security Fully Retractable Hydraulic Bollard
Security bollard featuring a retractable post that lowers completely flush with the roadway surface and an integrated hydraulic motor-pump unit.

Engineered to stop a 16,500 lb vehicle traveling at 50 mph, capable of absorbing a minimum of 1,380,000 ft-lbs (1,872,000 J) of impact energy in compliance with the above standards.
Designed for the protection of high-risk and sensitive facilities including military bases, airports, embassies, consulates, financial institutions, correctional facilities, and other sites requiring maximum perimeter security.

Construction & Structural Design
The bollard features a rising post extending 43" above finished grade, with a 13-3/4" outside diameter and 1-3/16" wall thickness.
When fully raised, the post is embedded approximately 20" below grade within the foundation enclosure and reinforced by two internal steel reinforcement plates, each 1-3/16" thick, providing additional structural strength.
The rising post is constructed from S355K2H high-strength structural steel, treated with a cathodic electrocoating (e-coat) primer and finished with a polyester powder coat.
For high visibility in all weather conditions, the post is equipped with an approved high-intensity retroreflective band.
The top cap includes a protective rubber edge to reduce injury risk in the event of accidental pedestrian contact.
